The Joy of Having a Miniature Australian Shepherd
We are a family & professional breeding located in Île-de-France.
We will introduce you to our adults, as well as their lifestyle and the activities we do with them! You will see that our Toy and Miniature Australian Shepherds are an integral part of our family!
Selection is the Key to Our Breeding Program
The Most Prestigious Lineages
We have chosen to import the majority of our breeding dogs from the United States. It is in the USA that the breed has been worked on for many years and so it is naturally towards this country that we have chosen to turn.
We love dogs with a very square morphology similar to the Australian Shepherd.
We are also demanding on the health of our future breeding dogs and therefore we only commit to dogs that have been tested and free of genetic defects.

Our Adult Dogs are Tested
All of our American Shepherd and Australian Shepherd Toy dogs are tested for genetic defects related to their breed, namely:
- Hip dysplasia
- Collie eye anomaly (AOC/CEA)
- Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA-prcd) (PRA-prcd)
- Hereditary cataract - HSF4
- Multifocal retinopathy (CMR1) (CMR1)
- Early cone degeneration (CD) (CD)
- Drug sensitivity (MDR1) (MDR1)
- Degenerative myelopathy (DM) (DM)
- Neuronal ceroid-lipofuscinosis (NCL6) (NCL6)
- Hyperuricosuria (HUU) (HUU)
- Dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) (DCM)
All of our breeding dogs are +/+ which means they are carriers that are healthy for all of the above tests.
We provide a copy of the tests of the father and mother to all of our families.
Performing these tests allows you to be sure that you have a healthy puppy that is not a carrier of any genetic diseases.
If you would like to learn more about genetic diseases and their significance, I recommend that you consult the following link: Health tests - Miniature American Shepherd Elevage des Terres d'Ocres (bergers-americains-des-terres-docres.com)
An Australian Shepherd Toy - A Non-LOF Dog
The Australian Shepherd Toy is a non-LOF dog. This means that it is not recognized by the French canine center and it does not have a pedigree. As a result, you must be very careful because you have no guarantee that you are buying a true Australian Shepherd Toy and a crossbreed of other breeds may be sold to you.
In contrast, the Miniature American Shepherd is a breed registered in the French book of origins. Therefore, your puppies will have pedigrees.
However, there are breed clubs in the United States that provide pedigrees for Australian Shepherd Toy dogs.
There are also more and more competitions and exhibitions around the Australian Shepherd Toy. This helps to improve and select the most beautiful subjects that best meet the standards of this developing breed.
The well-being of our adult Miniature and Toy Australian Shepherds
Love, lots of love!
Breeding dogs is for me the opportunity to live my passion. That of seeing little beings being born, growing and evolving, but also the happiness of being surrounded by animals.
I realize the luck I have but also everything they bring me. Therefore, I make it a point of honor to offer them a pleasant living environment, in accordance with their needs and safety.
Our dogs benefit from quality food, constant stimulation, outings in freedom...
Stimulation at every moment
Herding dogs, especially Miniature and Toy Australian Shepherds, are dogs that need activity and must be able to physically and psychologically expend their energy.
We are fortunate to have a secured 1 hectare field on which they can evolve in freedom and safety.
We also take daily walks with our herding dogs.
All our dogs are sociable, know how to walk on a leash, interact with other dogs.
They love to be with us, are not fearful at all, on the contrary. Their great joy is to welcome everyone with licks.
An adapted living place
We chose to move to a house with 1 hectare of land in the 77. Our goal is for them to have enough space to play and let off steam.
We have installations that comply with DDPP standards, allowing our dogs to evolve in a healthy and secure environment.
We aim to have an ethical and respectful breeding of dogs and their needs.
Here, the animal is dignified and treated with respect.
